Junior Finance Recruitment Consultant - Transactional Finance

Location: Birmingham City Centre

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £45,000 - £60,000)

The Role

We're seeking an ambitious recruitment consultant to join our transactional finance team, focusing on interim/temp placements across the West Midlands. You'll work with prestigious clients ranging from FTSE-listed companies to fast-growing SMEs, placing candidates in roles such as:

  • Credit Control
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Payroll
  • Bookkeeping

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Source high-calibre candidates through various sourcing channels
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Contribute to team strategy and market development

Requirements

Essential

  • Strong commercial acumen and business development capability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Resilient and target-driven mindset
  • Motivation to learn and develop through ongoing training

Experience Levels

We welcome applications from:

  • Any sector experienced entry level or trainee recruiters
  • Junior recruiters (6-24 months) demonstrating strong potential and commitment
  • Trainee recruiters (<12 months) with exceptional drive and commercial awareness

Prior finance sector knowledge is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
