The Role
We're seeking an accomplished Executive Search Consultant to join our growing team in Leeds. This is a senior position with partnership potential for the right candidate, offering the opportunity to build and lead your own practice while contributing to the firm's continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and win new business through proactive client engagement and relationship building
- Lead end-to-end retained search assignments for C-Suite and Board-level positions
- Conduct and oversee comprehensive market mapping exercises
- Deliver strategic talent insights through salary benchmarking and market analysis
- Manage executive outplacement programmes
- Oversee personality profiling and assessment processes
- Ensure rigorous referencing and compliance procedures
- Build and maintain strong networks within the executive community
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on organisational design, succession planning, and talent strategy
- Manage and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to the firm's thought leadership and market positioning
- Develop and maintain framework agreements with key clients
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven track record (minimum 5 years) in executive search, with demonstrable success in winning and delivering retained mandates
- Experience in delivering multiple service lines including market mapping, salary surveys, and outplacement
- Knowledge of personality profiling tools and assessment methodologies
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to build lasting relationships at board level
- Experience in C-Suite and Board-level appointments across multiple sectors
- Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple searches simultaneously
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Established network of senior executives and board members
