The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. While expertise in legal recruitment is advantageous, we welcome experienced recruiters from all sectors who demonstrate transferable skills and the potential to excel in our specialist legal market.

Comprehensive Back-Office Support

To enable you to focus on what you do best - building relationships and making placements - we provide full back-office support including:

  • Professional CV creation and formatting
  • Dedicated IT support to resolve technical issues quickly
  • Streamlined temporary staff payroll management
  • Comprehensive compliance and regulatory support
  • Marketing assistance to help build your personal and professional brand
  • Administrative support to minimize non-billable work

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and attract high-calibre legal professionals including solicitors, paralegals, and legal support staff
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with law firms, corporate legal departments, and potential candidates
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate interviews and skills assessments
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial contact to successful placement
  • Develop and expand our candidate and client networks through proactive networking and business development
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly recruitment targets
  • Maintain accurate and detailed candidate and client records using our CRM system
  • Provide expert advice to candidates and clients on market trends, salary expectations, and career opportunities

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruitment across any sector
  • Demonstrable success in achieving recruitment targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and sales abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Resilient and target-driven personality
  • Valid UK work permit

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in legal recruitment (excellent training will be provided for those transitioning)
  • Understanding of professional career paths and specialisms
