Public Sector Finance Recruitment Consultant

The Role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will focus on placing finance professionals in permanent, interim, contract, and temporary positions across our diverse client portfolio. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, building relationships with both clients and candidates while working both on and off procurement frameworks.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships across the public sector
  • Sourcing and placing high-calibre finance professionals
  • Managing vacancies from client briefing through to placement and beyond
  • Utilising our comprehensive suite of candidate sourcing tools to identify hard-to-find talent
  • Contributing to business development initiatives across Yorkshire and Humberside

Location & Working Pattern

  • Based in our modern Leeds city centre office
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
  • Regular travel throughout Yorkshire and Humberside

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within finance, accountancy or the public sector
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated with a drive to succeed
  • Knowledge of the Yorkshire and Humberside region is advantageous
